Athlete profile

Tradie by day.
Racer by weekend.

Deegan is a carpenter from Lismore, NSW, working full-time to fund his goal of competing at the highest level of Australian enduro racing.

After returning to racing in 2023 and winning the MX1 B Class Championship in the Sunshine State MX Series, Deegan shifted his focus to the Australian Enduro Championship, taking on the country’s leading enduro athletes at rounds across Australia.

As a self-funded privateer, he balances full-time trade work with an elite-level national program, backed by the small businesses and supporters who make his racing possible. 2026 delivered his biggest result yet: the Queensland Enduro Championship.

2023

Returns to racing and wins the MX1 B Class Championship in the Sunshine State MX Series, with race wins at Coolum, Toowoomba, Kingaroy and MX Farm.

2024

Steps up to off-road: the Australian Off-Road Championship, Queensland Off-Road Championship and NSW Off-Road Championships.

2025

Australian Enduro Championship campaign plus QEC podiums at Sexton, QMP and Kyogle.

2026

The 2027 goal

Team Australia at the ISDE

Deegan's goal for 2027 is to earn a place in Australia's World Trophy team at the International Six Days Enduro.

The ISDE is enduro's biggest team event: six days of racing, with countries going head to head for the World Trophy. In 2027 its 101st edition heads to Mid-Wales, the first time it has been held in Britain since 1983.

Motorcycling Australia picks just four riders for the World Trophy team from rider applications. With a Queensland Enduro Championship and national podiums behind him, Deegan is building his 2027 season around earning one of those spots.

Two.O Motorsports

Two.O Motorsports is run by Casey Treasure, a former pro enduro racer from South East Queensland. After years working for another suspension tuner, Casey opened Two.O in October 2024. The workshop now builds everything from national-level race bikes to trail, adventure and street machines, across MX, supercross and enduro.

Deegan found Casey through social media in mid-2025. What stood out was his bike setup and test day package, something few suspension tuners offer. They spent test days working through settings so Casey could learn how Deegan rides. By the end of 2025, Deegan's YZ450F was right in the window.

The 2026 package

For 2026 Deegan moved down to a YZ250F. His suspension settings carried straight across and found more speed on the smaller bike from the first ride. Paired with a race engine built by Casey, it's the combination Deegan credits for his 2026 season, including the Queensland Enduro Championship.

The most important thing about suspension is having a setting that feels safe to go fast on in almost any conditions, and having a brain on the other end that helps point you in the right direction to find that extra few percent.

The night before Miva

In 2025, heading to a Queensland off-road round at Miva Station near Gympie, Deegan had a leaking fork seal that had to be fixed before the race. The plan was to drop into Casey's at 4pm on Friday. Held up at work, he didn't arrive until 9pm. Casey went straight out to the workshop and got the job done that night, then offered a bed. They were up at 4am to make the 6am sign-on, and Deegan went on to what was then his best result at a Queensland round.

“It's moments like these that I think back to and remember how grateful I am to have such a good person in my corner helping me achieve my goals.”
